The market of cottage building experiences a real boom today. А noticeable stirring up of investors in this segment can be explained by increased demand for cottage cities. The significant part of citizens does not consider that a flat in the city center is something very prestigious. Citizens are not satisfied with numerous trading centers, large transport streams and therefore constant traffic jams. The price of cottage house is practically the same as the price of the flat in prestigious district in the city.
The consumer started to pay more attention to out-of-town building which became more moderate in price and is worth alternative for flat. People try to change their living styles. They desire to have an own house and lot, breath the fresh air and forget about “hustling and bustling” of their cities. On the other had, it has become more difficult for building firms to find free lots within the precincts of a town. The competition becomes tougher, the quality gets better – all this has a positive impact on consumer culture. An attraction of foreign marketing specialists allows applying foreign experience and new technologies. The chaotic out-of-town building will be soon replaced by projects with unified conceptions, developed social infrastructures and other services. More cottages will appear in Odessa region as well. Larger projects may turn into reality thanks to increased incomes, the popularization of cottage building and general public excitement about cottage cities. There is also a threat of mass speculations on this segment. 40% of most liquid houses are bought with the idea of future selling.
